Napa Valley’s The Elene to open in late summer of 2026

Mosaic Hotel Collection and Napa Valley Land Company have unveiled plans for the late summer 2026 debut of a new boutique hotel and dining destination in the California wine region.

The Elene has been concepted and managed by Mosaic Hotel Collection with architecture by Signum Architecture, interiors by Parts and Labor Design and construction being led by Nordby Construction. The hotel—which will include 50 guestrooms and suites—will be located on a five-acre site along the Napa Valley Vine Trail.

The Elene will join Mill Valley, Calif.-based Mosaic Hotel Collection’s portfolio of independent, design-driven properties in California, including North Block Hotel in Yountville; El Dorado Hotel & Kitchen in Sonoma; Olema House in Point Reyes; and The Madrona in Healdsburg.

“The Elene caters to today’s sophisticated traveler, offering an immersive and authentic Napa Valley experience rooted in the surrounding landscape,” Tim Harmon, CEO of Mosaic Hotel Collection, said in a statement. “Every aspect—from its clean design to its intentional programming—supports a less-is-more ethos, creating a platform for true connection. We’re excited to introduce this relaxed, modern expression of Napa luxury in 2026.”

Among the 50 accommodations, 46 guest rooms will offer vineyard views and private decks with lounge seating and fire pits. Four third-story luxury suites will include living, dining and kitchen areas along with panoramic vineyard and mountain vistas. Interiors are designed to celebrate relaxed Napa Valley living with natural materials, generous light and an emphasis on residential comfort, according to the company.

The resort’s architectural and interior direction is driven by an emphasis on simplicity, comfort and natural connection, according to the company. Free-standing buildings are arranged around a central arrival area and interlinked with landscaped outdoor pathways and courtyards designed by Surfacedesign. Public spaces include a courtyard, café and bike center designed to complement the more private resort environment. The Elene is also integrating sustainability into its development through water recycling, solar initiatives and incentives that encourage guests and locals to bike or walk to the property.

The Elene will introduce several public dining venues, including a signature restaurant celebrating regional flavor, a refined house bar and a casual café. Outdoor courtyards, fire tables and landscaped lounges are designed for informal gatherings throughout the day.

Wellness offerings include a 25-yard heated pool, water recovery circuit, a fitness studio and the Spa & Sauna Garden—designed by luxury spa consultant Lydia Mondavi—featuring an infrared sauna, hot and cold plunges, mineral pool and targeted massage showers.
