Proper Hospitality to develop Dallas Proper Hotel and Residences

Santa Monica, Calif.-based Proper Hospitality has unveiled plans for Dallas Proper Hotel and Residences, a mixed-use luxury development scheduled to open in 2029.

Developed in partnership with Dallas-based Lincoln Property Company, the 34-story project will have a hotel, branded residences and private member facilities. The Dallas Proper Hotel will include approximately 200 guestrooms and suites, three restaurants, five bar and lounge venues, a rooftop pool deck and 22,000-square-feet of event space.

Plans also call for a 15,000-square-foot wellness center with fitness, recovery and holistic therapy elements, and an adjacent 6,000-square-foot members-only Proper Club with a restaurant, pool, bar, lounge and work areas. The upper floors will house about 80 branded residences ranging from one to four bedrooms, including duplex penthouses. Residents will have access to a private rooftop pool, dining terrace and owners’ lounge, along with entry to the Proper Club and wellness amenities.

The property will be designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill  with interiors by Kelly Wearstler, incorporating cascading terraces, shaded outdoor areas and floor-to-ceiling glass. Situated on a four-acre site near Klyde Warren Park and the Katy Trail in the Uptown district, the property offers proximity to Dallas Love Field and nearby business centers.
