A new luxury golf retreat is planned for North Scottsdale with the Scottsdale Golf Retreat at Troon North scheduled to open in early 2026.
Developed by Scottsdale, Ariz.-based MBA Development Partners, the 26-suite boutique property is situated on a 2.7-acre parcel west of the Troon North clubhouse. The resort will consist of eight one- and two-story buildings with contemporary architecture set among natural boulders and native desert landscaping.

“Scottsdale Golf Retreat at Troon North will be an iconic property that fills a void in the North Scottsdale market where guests can enjoy luxurious lodging, an amazing guest experience and the ultimate in golf play all at one location,” Mike Anderson of MBA Development Partners, said in a statement. “We are excited to partner with Troon to manage and market the Retreat, ensuring guests can curate bespoke golf vacations across the Valley.”

The resort will have 20 four-bedroom, four-bath suites and six two-bedroom, two-bath suites, designed in an enclave-style layout. The larger suites will span about 1,615 square feet, while the two-bedroom options will measure roughly 700 square feet. Each unit will include spa-inspired bathrooms, wet bar and beverage centers, private patios or balconies and views of the surrounding Sonoran Desert.
Amenities will include a guest lounge with media center, meeting and dining areas, a 650-square-foot pool, large spa, outdoor kitchen and fire features. Guests will also have access to Troon North’s Dynamite Grille for on-site dining, as well as its two championship golf courses, and Troon-managed attractions such as Eagle Mountain and The Boulders. The property will be staffed with a dedicated service team to assist with restaurant reservations, tee times and custom desert experiences.
