Castle Resorts & Hotels has appointed hospitality veteran Ian Yoneshige to the newly created position of head of enterprise strategy and initiatives.
The new position is designed to align the Honolulu-based management company’s sales, revenue management and distribution efforts under a unified commercial framework. Yoneshige brings more than 20 years of hospitality experience spanning marketing, revenue management and distribution.
“We’re pleased to welcome Ian to the Castle leadership team,” Matt Bailey, president and CEO of Castle Resorts & Hotels, said in a statement. “His extensive experience and systems-based approach will help us better integrate our commercial efforts, enhancing performance and creating a more seamless experience for our guests and partners.”
In his new post, Yoneshige will bridge departments that have traditionally operated independently, connecting sales, revenue management and distribution to strengthen Castle’s commercial framework and accelerate business growth, according to the company. He will work with the company’s revenue, distribution and marketing teams, while also overseeing operations for the Castle Reservation Sales Center/Customer Contact Center.
Before joining Castle, Yoneshige held leadership roles at Waikiki Resort Hotel, Highgate Hawai‘i, The Twin Fin / Aston Waikiki Beach Hotel and Aston Hotels & Resorts. He has led initiatives in revenue forecasting, channel performance analysis and system integration to drive data-informed business decisions and operational efficiency.
