In preparation for its midtown Atlanta opening in late 2025, Hotel Phoenix has bolstered its executive team with five additional leaders. Following the recent appointments of general manager Martin Wormull and director of food and beverage Omari Buncum, the luxury hotel appointed Cesar Brand as hotel manager. Brand brings decades of experience leading properties such as The Whitley, JW Marriott Marquis Miami, The St. Regis Bal Harbour and W South Beach.
Danielle Randall joins the hotel as director of sales and marketing bringing more than 25 years of hospitality experience. At Hotel Phoenix, she will lead all pre-opening sales and marketing initiatives ahead of the property’s 2025 debut. Randall has been recognized for driving measurable results and boosting RevPAR across a number of brands including Marriott, Hilton and IHG.
Tiffany Newsome, an HR professional with 15 years of experience, has been named director of human resources. She has worked for a number of luxury properties, including Four Seasons, Mandarin Oriental and Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead. Newsome most recently oversaw human resources for the pre-opening of Aparium Hotel Group’s Hotel Granada.
Samantha Fleisher joins the hotel as director of finance bringing expertise in budgeting, forecasting and financial strategy from hotels in Atlanta and New York. Her background includes key roles at Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta, Baccarat Hotel New York, The Surrey, A Corinthia Hotel and Loews Hotel Atlanta. Fleisher will oversee all financial planning and operations for the Hotel Phoenix.
Finally, Pete Baum has been appointed director of engineering. With more than 15 years of experience overseeing hotel operations, Baum has led engineering teams at luxury properties, including Loews Atlanta Hotel, Holston House Nashville and Hilton Marco Island, as well as several new-build openings across major hospitality brands.
