Kalibri Labs CEO and co-founder Cindy Estis Green has been named the recipient of the 2025 Cornell Hospitality Innovator Award. Presented by the Cornell Peter and Stephanie Nolan School of Hotel Administration, the award recognizes Estis Green’s work in redefining hotel performance metrics and shifting the industry’s commercial focus to targeting a hotel’s most profitable revenue leading to improved cash flows and asset value growth.
Estis Green joins an elite group of past honorees, including José Andrés, celebrated humanitarian and founder of World Central Kitchen, and John Zimmer, co-founder of Lyft.
“We are so proud to honor Cindy and her extraordinary impact on our industry,” Kate Walsh, the Dimond Family dean of the Cornell Peter and Stephanie Nolan School of Hotel Administration, said in a statement. “Cindy’s vision for reframing the concept of revenue, and our industry’s related measurement systems, makes her the ideal recipient of this year’s Innovator Award.”
At Kalibri, Estis Green continues to revolutionize commercial strategy. By leveraging proprietary transaction-level data and AI-driven insights, Kalibri’s platform empowers hotel operators to optimize for profit contribution in their customer acquisition efforts and equips the real estate community with precise market insights for smarter discovery and more accurate underwriting.
“I founded Kalibri Labs to provide the data, technology, and education needed to improve hotel performance for operations and development,” said Estis Green. “When profitability factors into customer acquisition and developers better understand the composition of revenue, we can create a stronger, more sustainable industry that attracts investment, generates jobs, and results in a healthier hotel ecosystem.”
The 2025 Cornell Hospitality Icon and Innovator Awards Celebration will be held on June 3, 2025, in New York City.
