Makeready, the Dallas based hospitality company that creates, manages, and operates independent hotel, restaurant and retail brands, expands its sales leadership team with the appointment of Suya Davenport as vice president of leisure sales and the promotion of Tiffany Alves Hafer to vice president of global sales – group. They join William Bullens, vice president of sales, in advancing the company’s commercial strategy.

Davenport joins Makeready as vice president of leisure sales, bringing more than 35 years of experience in global luxury travel and hospitality to her new role. She will lead leisure sales strategy across Makeready’s 10 destinations, strengthen relationships with key travel partners, and drive brand visibility in high-value markets. Davenport most recently served as vice president of global sales – travel industry at Pyramid Global Hospitality and has held senior leadership roles with Benchmark Resorts & Hotels, The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company and LXR Luxury Resorts.

Alves Hafer has been promoted to vice president of global sales – group, leading group sales strategy and execution across Makeready’s portfolio. With nearly two decades in hospitality sales, including leadership roles at The Beekman and Thompson Hotels, Alves Hafer has been instrumental in shaping Makeready’s success story, driving over $14 million in sales since joining the company. With a fashion background, her creative, relationship-first approach and understanding of culture-driven clients have positioned her as a trusted partner for planners across industries.
Bullens continues to serve as vice president of sales, leading enterprise-level sales strategy across Makeready’s portfolio and overseeing commercial efforts across global and portfolio accounts. With nearly two decades in hospitality, William’s expertise spans group, entertainment, and sports market segments. He has been recognized with multiple industry awards, including the Live Production Summit Award and the Thompson Hotels Sales Leader of the Year.
These leadership changes come as Makeready continues to expand its portfolio, now managing The Laylow in Waikiki, Clayton Hotel & Members Club in Denver, and The Greenleigh in Houston, set to open in 2026, further strengthening the company’s presence in key lifestyle and independent hotel markets.
