Remington appoints chief accounting officer

Remington Hospitality has appointed Randy Jones as the company’s new chief accounting officer. In this leadership position, Jones will report directly to CEO Sloan Dean and will oversee the company’s accounting and financial reporting operations at both the corporate and property levels.

“We are thrilled to welcome Randy to the Remington Hospitality team,” Dean said in a statement. “Randy’s extensive expertise—spanning over 23 years in accounting, finance, and large-scale organizational leadership—makes him exceptionally well-suited to drive both our financial strategy and operations as we continue to expand. Randy is poised to make a significant impact as a strategic financial leader here at Remington Hospitality.”

In his new capacity, Jones will oversee the accuracy, integrity and transparency of financial information while implementing internal controls and reporting policies. He will also provide financial leadership to support the continued growth and profitability of the company, as well as work closely with Ashford, Remington’s parent company, to align financial initiatives with its broader corporate vision and strategy.

Jones most recently was vice president of accounting and corporate controller at Dave & Buster’s. There, he spearheaded the company’s accounting and payroll operations. His career also includes senior leadership roles at Brinker International, Lennox International, Nortel, and Ernst & Young, where he honed his expertise in financial management and operational efficiency.
