The California Lodging Investment Conference will award Dorraine Lallani, senior director of asset management at Westmont Hospitality Group, and Joseph Fan, president of Brighton Management, the conference’s Lifetime Achievement Award. The two honorees will be celebrated during the event, which will be hosted at the Westin Long Beach from March 5-6.
“Dorraine and Joseph already have made lasting impressions in the California hospitality industry, and we look forward to their continued contributions in the years to come," Craig Sullivan, founder and president, CLIC, said in a statement. "From respectively asset managing the entirety of Westmont Hospitality’s more than 500 hotels worldwide to founding one of the leading Greater Los Angeles property management firms, both have forged well-respected careers in California.
Lallani is senior director of asset management at Westmont Hospitality Group, one of the largest privately owned hotel companies. Previously, she served as senior vice president at Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels, where she focused on hotel advisory services and investment sales in the select-service division. Lallani’s expertise includes hotel acquisitions, due diligence, franchise relations and asset dispositions across a broad spectrum of hotel types and values. She has managed a portfolio that includes both select-service and full-service hotels, and her work has ranged from handling smaller properties valued at $2 million to larger, high-value hotels exceeding $50 million. In addition to her asset management responsibilities, Lallani has had a hand in overseeing franchise development and operations, further showcasing her breadth of experience.
Fan founded Brighton Management in 1994, serving the greater Los Angeles area, including Beverly Hills and Oxnard, in addition to San Diego and Northern California. Fan takes great pride in his many philanthropic efforts, a dedicated supporter and sponsor for many non-profit organizations including the Special Olympics, the Give Kids the World Foundation, the War Heroes on Water, the CHP 11-99 Foundation and Operation Underground Railroad. He actively serves as a Board Director of the Taiwanese Hotel & Motel Association of Southern California and is a member of Cornell SC Johnson College of Business Advisory Board.
