Expecting to play host to more 350 hotel owners, investors, developers and brand executives, the 9th annual Hotel Investment Forum is poised to return to the JW Marriott Marquis Miami on Oct. 30.
This year’s theme, “The Best Way to Predict the Future is to Create It,” highlights innovation, leadership and creativity as driving forces reshaping hospitality investment and ownership. Among the headline speakers, Karim Alibhai, founder and principal of Gencom, will discuss the transformation of the Hyatt Regency Miami into a landmark riverfront destination.
      
Geoff Ballotti, president and CEO of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, will take part in an exclusive fireside conversation on franchise growth, brand innovation and the evolving midscale and extended-stay segments. Global futurist and AI thought-leader Dr. Mark van Rijmenam will present “Now What? How to Ride the Tsunami of Change,” examining how artificial intelligence and automation are redefining the future of hospitality.
      
      
Mitch Patel, founder and CEO of Vision Hospitality Group, will share leadership and operational insights from his experience as one of the nation’s most respected hotel entrepreneurs, while Greg Friedman, managing principal and CEO of Peachtree Group, will provide a forward-looking discussion on capital markets and investment strategies for 2025 and beyond.
