Bally’s Baton Rouge hotel is now open following extensive renovations. Formerly known as the Belle of Baton Rouge hotel, the property’s rebrand follows the recent merger of Bally’s Corp. with the Belle's parent company, The Queen Casino & Entertainment Inc.
"Opening Bally’s Baton Rouge Hotel marks a new chapter in the rich history of this property," Director of Hotel Operations Daniel Hutchinson said in a statement. "We’re thrilled for new and returning guests to experience elevated luxury in the heart of downtown."
The reopening of the 242-room property brings much-needed hotel inventory to downtown Baton Rouge, La., according to the company. At 10 stories tall, Bally’s Baton Rouge has luxury suites, deluxe king and queen rooms, an ultra-modern fitness center and a VIP lounge with panoramic views.
Deluxe rooms are equipped with 65-inch 4K TVs, custom flooring, spacious showers and digital climate controls. All suites have premium amenities including full and half bathrooms, separate seating areas with comfortable furnishings, custom desk with spacious workspace surfaces and two 86-inch 4K TVs.
“The opening of Bally’s Baton Rouge Hotel is a significant milestone in the Belle of Baton Rouge’s plans to revitalize this storied downtown area. Looking ahead to our new entertainment complex opening later this year, we’re excited about all we’ve accomplished together and the continued success of downtown,” said Richard Cannon, general manager of the Belle of Baton Rouge.
Belle plans to revitalize a dormant downtown area into a contemporary land-based casino and entertainment complex. Slated to open in the fall of 2025 pending approval from the Louisiana Gaming Commission, the complex will have 25,000-square-feet of Vegas-style gaming, a sports lounge, an upscale cocktail lounge and casual and fine dining. Detailed plans including restaurant concepts and branding will be unveiled in the coming months.
