Third-party hotel management company Ivy Hospitality has expanded into its third state after being awarded the management contract for the 117-room Hilton Garden Inn Springfield, Ill.
The hotel is owned by Witness Investment, which purchased the hotel from Schulte Hospitality Group in July. The limited-service property is located off of I-55, next to Capital City Shopping Center, and within five miles of downtown attractions, such as the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum, Lincoln Home National Site and Bank of Springfield Center conventions.
“We currently have a significant presence in Indiana and Ohio and, as we continue to grow our footprint in the Midwest, the Illinois market expands our reach,” Tommy Holmes, CEO of Indianapolis, Ind.-based Ivy Hospitality, said in a statement. “This growth isn’t just about scale. It’s about deepening our roots in the communities we serve. We’re bringing the same people-first approach, operational excellence, and collaborative spirit that define Ivy to Springfield. Our goal is to position Hilton Garden Inn Springfield, Illinois as a market leader in its property segment.”
The Hilton Garden Inn Springfield features an indoor pool, fitness center and meeting rooms. Other amenities include free WiFi, complimentary parking and connecting rooms. The Garden Grille & Bar features pasta and seafood, steaks, sandwiches and salads, as well as an extensive wine menu.
