The Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino has completed a multi-million-dollar renovation to its 414 guestrooms and suites.
The phased renovation began in spring 2025 and concluded in early December, introducing a modern, coastal aesthetic. The redesigned guestrooms feature a light, neutral color palette anchored in sand, tan and taupe tones, complemented by coral and sea glass accents that reference the Caribbean coastline. Floor-to-ceiling windows are designed to maximize natural light and frame views of the Caribbean Sea and Palm Beach.
“It comes on the heels of recent upgrades to the Stellaris Casino and enhancements to the Mandara Spa,” Raoul Lemmerling, complex general manager of the Aruba Marriott Resort, said in a statement. “The refreshed room aesthetic introduces a breath of fresh air for our repeat guests and first-time visitors and reflects our continued focus on elevating the overall guest experience.”
Guestrooms now include marble-topped work desks, new sofas and armchairs in tropical hues, updated flooring and streamlined fixtures. Decorative elements such as rattan desk lamps, slim metallic lighting and photography depicting nearby palm trees and shoreline are further designed to reinforce the sense of place. Public areas on guestroom floors were refreshed as part of the project, including new hallway carpeting with oversized seashell and aquatic motifs.
Bathrooms were also fully reimagined, with new double vanities topped in marble, back-lit mirrors, lightwood accents and open shelving. Walk-in showers feature sliding glass enclosures, waterfall showerheads and light gray tile walls, while select guestrooms include oversized soaking tubs.
The renovation encompassed all 24 suites at the property, which range from 625 square feet and feature wrap-around balconies overlooking the Caribbean Sea and Palm Beach. Five of the suites—three Junior Suites and two Governor’s Suites—are part of the resort’s adults-only Tradewinds Club.
In addition to the guestroom upgrades, the resort’s 6,500-square-foot Mandara Spa also underwent enhancements. Improvements include new saunas and steam rooms, refreshed décor in the spa’s 12 treatment rooms and upgrades to the outdoor courtyard, which now features a hot tub, cold plunge pool and expanded seating.
The Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino has a range of on-site amenities, including multiple swimming pools, an adults-only pool experience, an expansive casino, the Tradewinds Club and 10 food-and-beverage outlets spanning a variety of cuisines and concepts.
