The Salt Lake City Marriott Downtown at City Creek has completed a multimillion-dollar renovation focused on refreshed guestrooms, redesigned public areas, an updated restaurant and bar and expanded meeting facilities.
The 510-room property now has nearly 25,000 square feet of updated function space with a contemporary design. The hotel is located across from the Salt Palace Convention Center and is close to Temple Square and City Creek Center.
“With this renovation, we’re proud to offer guests the best of both worlds—the heritage and history of Salt Lake City’s flagship downtown hotel, combined with the comfort and style of a newly refreshed property,” Andreo Girardi, general manager of the Salt Lake City Marriott Downtown at City Creek, said in a statement.
The renovation also included upgrades to the hotel’s signature restaurant, Salt Stone, which now offers upscale, locally inspired cuisine and Destinations Lounge, a new cocktail bar.
