Curator Hotel & Resort Collection partners with Hovr for video storytelling

Hovr—the interactive video storytelling platform for hotels and resorts—has partnered with Curator Hotel & Resort Collection to expand access to video capabilities for independent properties.

The collaboration is aimed at helping Curator members better communicate their unique sense of place and convert digital interest into bookings, according to the company. As part of the partnership, Los Angeles, Calif.-based Hovr is already working with several Curator member properties, including Fidelity Hotel in Cleveland; Hotel Revival in Baltimore; Albert Hotel in Fredericksburg, Texas; El Capitan Hotel in Merced, Calif.; and San Diego Mission Bay Resort in San Diego.

“Video plays an increasingly central role in how travelers discover, consume and engage with hotel content when making travel decisions,” Brent Hayhurst, vp of program development at Bethesda, Md.-based Curator Hotel & Resort Collection, said in a statement. “Hovr offers our members a cost-effective way to turn their websites into interactive experiences, create more shareable moments and convert digital content into guest bookings.”

Through the partnership, Curator members will have the opportunity to integrate Hovr’s interactive video formats directly into their websites, converting static images and text into video moments. The platform is designed not only to showcase spaces, but also to lead travelers through the experience with clear calls to action, while providing real-time performance insights that help hotels understand what content drives engagement and bookings, according to the company.

Curator members will also receive exclusive pricing, dedicated onboarding support and access to joint best-practice resources developed specifically for independent hotels.
