Rosen Hotels exec elected global president of HFTP

James “Jim” Bina—vice president of finance at Rosen Hotels & Resorts—has been elected global president of the Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals for 2025-2026.

Bina has spent more than four decades as an active member of HFTP, during which he contributed to various committees including the HITEC Advisory Council, Global Finance Committee and Nominating Committee. He has a 33-year tenure with Rosen Hotels & Resorts and has served as president of Millennium Technology Group (MTG), a subsidiary company, where he oversaw the purchasing, installation and maintenance of all technology for the company’s clients.

“Being elected president is a tremendous honor,” Bina said in a statement. “HFTP has been instrumental in my own career development, and I'm excited to give back by helping expand our educational offerings and global reach. Our industry's financial and technology professionals are the backbone of hospitality operations, and HFTP will continue to be their premier resource for professional growth and industry connections.”

Bina holds certifications as a Certified Hospitality Account Executive (CHAE) and Certified Hospitality Technology Professional (CHTP). Outside of work, he also served on the board of Girl Scouts of Citrus Council.

The HFTP board is made up of volunteers from diverse hospitality sectors, united in their mission to support members through educational opportunities and resources while advancing the organization’s reach and impact across the industry, according to the association.
