Developed in response to customer feedback, Pryme has introduced two new products designed to enhance convenience and flexibility for hotel staff using two-way radios and push-to-talk-over-cellular systems.
The BT-PTT-Z-BADGE integrates a wireless push-to-talk button directly into a standard-sized identification badge holder. By embedding Pryme’s Mini Wireless Button into a familiar badge format, the design keeps PTT access within reach.

“This product is really about convenience,” Dave George, president and chief technologist at Pryme, said in a statement. “As PTT applications and wireless buttons become more widely used, customers wanted a solution that wouldn’t get lost in a pocket or forgotten on a desk.”

The BT-PTT-Z-BADGE connects to a variety of PTT apps and Pryme V2 Radio Adapters via Bluetooth Low Energy. It’s powered by a replaceable coin cell battery that lasts up to two years and fits standard badge holders with options for lanyard or clip attachments for hospitality professionals.
Brea, Calif.-based Pryme also announced the BT-583-V2SW, an upgraded version of its Wireless Headset Adapter for Motorola APX and MotoTRBO XPR 6100/6500/7500 Series radios. Developed in response to user feedback, the new model adds a power switch that lets users toggle Bluetooth functionality on or off without removing the adapter from the radio.

The BT-583-V2SW supports Pryme’s PTT buttons and pairs with a wide range of Bluetooth headsets. It allows users to operate their radios with or without wireless accessories.
“These two new products show how Pryme listens to customers and continues to innovate,” George added. “Our goal is always to deliver practical, reliable and affordable solutions that enhance the way professionals connect.”
