Third-party management firm White Lodging is expanding its collaboration with digital F&B and guest service platform provider IRIS to accelerate mobile ordering across its hotel portfolio.
The increased commitment builds on Merrillville, Ind.-based White Lodging’s initial rollout of the IRIS platform, which drove a 44 percent year-over-year increase in mobile ordering revenue, according to the company. White Lodging will now extend mobile ordering to all its premium and luxury properties, establishing a new brand standard for digital guest services.
“The growth we have seen in the last year is a testament to not only the IRIS platform, but the truly collaborative way that the IRIS and White Lodging teams have worked together, to ensure our digital offering meets both our guest expectations and wider operational requirements,” Carolyn Hosna, vice president of marketing and brand development at White Lodging, said in a statement.
“We have strong ambitions for growth, and mobile ordering is a critical ancillary revenue driver and a core focus in achieving that. We look forward to growing our capabilities and revenues even further across the group in the future.”
Recent efforts from White Lodging have focused on improving the visual design and usability of the IRIS app, emphasizing intuitive navigation and clear imagery to enhance the guest experience. The companies plan to continue scaling the platform across White Lodging’s portfolio in the coming months as part of the broader strategy.
